EVENT FAQ’s

MetroHealth Cleveland Juneteenth Freedom Fest saw more than 10,000 attendees for the last three years and we are thrilled to welcome all members of the community representing every age group, race, pro-noun, ethnicity gather in our city center to celebrate this freedom day. As you and your family begin to make plans to attend below are a few items to help ensure you have a wonderful experience.

Getting there

Where can I park?

Parking is available throughout downtown. The closest parking options to Mall C include –

  • Willard Parking Garage | 601 Lakeside Avenue E Cleveland, Ohio 44114

  • Huntington Park Garage | 1141 West 3rd Street Cleveland, Ohio 44114

  • Memorial Parking Garage | 300 St. Clair Avenue NE Cleveland, Ohio 44113

How can I get downtown?

 

Where is the event located?

Mall C. Located at Lakeside Avenue and West Mall Drive in Downtown Cleveland.

 

 

things to remember

Are pets allowed?

No animals or pets are allowed within the festival grounds. Service animals are permitted.

Will there be food and beverage available for purchase?

Yes. This year we doubling the amount of concessions, food trucks and vendors on-site!

Do I need to buy tickets?

No. The festival is free and open to the public.

What time does the event start?

On Friday, June 14 gates will open at 6 pm - AND - on Saturday, June 15 gates will open at 10:00am. Please visit our Festival Schedule for a full line up of the days activities.

Can I STILL apply to be a vendor?

Vendor Applications are now open. Apply here.

Is outside food and beverage permitted?

We love supporting local restaurants so we won’t turn your take-out away, however outside beverages and coolers will not be permitted on festival grounds.

All bags are subject to search.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH me?

Think of what you bring to a family reunion at the park. A blanket or chair, light jacket for the evening. Family, friends, and treats for the babies.
